Who's Behind GETS AI

25+ years of running real operations — now working for you.

For more than 25 years I helped run pieces of two of the largest companies on earth. At Walmart I spent nearly two decades in store operations and leadership, ultimately as a high-volume director owning a nine-figure P&L. At Amazon I led delivery operations and then learning and development across a region — thousands of people, hundreds of sites.

That experience taught me the thing most technology advice misses: results don't come from tools, they come from people who know how to use them. I've watched the same system succeed brilliantly in one place and fail completely in another, with the only difference being whether the team was brought along. Knowing how to lead that change is what I do.

I started GETS AI to bring that operating wisdom to small and mid-sized businesses — the ones that never had a team of consultants or a technology budget like the giants. AI is what finally makes that possible. My job is to guide you with the judgment of someone who has actually run the business, and the tools to move it forward.

The GETS Method

Why the name puts GETS first, and AI second.

GETS is four kinds of knowing, drawn from ancient Greek. Three of the four are things no tool can give you — hard-won experience, deep understanding, and the wisdom to act well. AI is the fourth: a powerful craft, only as good as the judgment directing it.

Most "AI consultants" sell you one facet — the technology — and leave you to figure out the rest. I bring all four. The experience to know what actually matters, the understanding of your business, the technical skill to put AI to work, and the wisdom to make it stick.

What That Means for You

An operator in your corner — with AI as the lever.

Not the consultant who diagnoses and disappears. I work alongside you from first honest assessment through the day your team is running confidently on its own.

01

Where AI actually fits — and where it doesn't

An operator's honest read on what will move your business, what to skip, and what it's worth — before you spend a dollar.

02

Put it to work without disrupting what works

The right tools set up to fit how you already operate, delivering real value in weeks — not someday.

03

Bring your whole team along

The part most consultants skip and my deepest expertise: leading change so people actually adopt it, not resist it.

04

Free your people for what makes you great

AI pointed at the busywork, so your team spends its time on the work only they can do — and your business runs better than ever.

The AI Edge

And yes — I live and breathe the technology.

Operating wisdom is the guide. But the AI is real, current, and hands-on. I don't just advise on it — I run my own work and life on it, every day.

A daily practitioner

Gemini and Claude every day — automated email triage, drafting, and keeping my work and family calendars in sync.

I build, not just talk

I built my own AI assistant, “Alpha,” trained on my writing voice and priorities to keep me focused on what matters.

From a frontier company

At Amazon I used early AI tools to automate communications to teams of thousands — before most had started.

Always at the edge

I read across TLDR, MIT, Anthropic, Google and more daily — so you're never behind, without having to keep up yourself.

Most owners don't struggle to buy AI — they struggle to make it work inside a real team. Get an honest read across the four GETS dimensions: your composite score, your maturity level, and the imbalance most likely to stall you. Results on screen, immediately.
